Handmade Yorkshire Rose Pendant made from recycled fine silver on a sterling silver chain A pendant in the shape of a Yorkshire Rose – a beautiful handmade gift for those who love Yorkshire or who have strong ties to the county.   On the reverse there is a curved tube which holds the chain, hiding how it hangs, so that the rose is the focal point when worn. Details ·      Approximate size of piece, diameter = 20mm
The silver Esther Priestley uses is all 100% recycled silver, mainly in the form of silver clay as this allows textures and patterns to be pressed into the pieces before they are fired in a kiln. Then using traditional silver smithing techniques other parts are added. (Silver Clay has a high silver content, and can actually be hallmarked as 999 Fine Silver rather the slightly lower 925 content of Sterling Silver.)
