Silver Fish Earrings

Handmade fish shaped silver earrings with a dappled, textured surface made from recycled silver in the form of silver clay. Complete with sterling silver earring posts and butterfly backs they are ideal gifts for nature lovers, and were inspired by trips to the coast.  

Complete with eco-friendly gift box created from recycled card.

The fish symbol was also used by early Christians.

The silver Esther Priestley uses is all 100% recycled silver, mainly in the form of silver clay as this allows textures and patterns to be pressed into the pieces before they are fired in a kiln. Then using traditional silver smithing techniques other parts are added. (Silver Clay has a high silver content, and can actually be hallmarked as 999 Fine Silver rather the slightly lower 925 content of Sterling Silver.)
