Anglo Saxon Britain Map Hand Drawn Fine Art Print

The so-called "dark ages" weren't dark, they were fascinating! This map is perfect for anyone interested in early British history.

Hand-drawn by cartographic artist Kevin Sheehan, the map depicts the major cities and towns of the time, and includes the arms of the seven kingdoms of the Heptarchy: East Anglia, Essex, Kent, Mercia, Northumbria, Sussex, and Wessex. Over 40 battle locations are also marked, plus Hadrian’s Wall (known then only as the ‘Roman Wall’), Offa's Dyke and more. 

This map is a limited edition print out of a run of 200, printed on high-quality 300gsm paper with long-lasting pigment inks. It is signed and numbered by artist.

The map is sold with a mount (mat-board) in black, ivory, navy or slate, sized at 14"x18" (a standard frame size). It is also available framed with an ivory mount, black frame, and acrylic glass.

This map is also the same size and layout as the Roman Britain Map. They make a great pair.
